Wichita State just put together its most impressive 3 game stretch of the season winning three road games to take Markis back home and put the Shockers in the NIT semifinals at Madison Square Garden. Taylor is off to NY, so Producer Bryan joins Dustin behind the mic as we break down the week of victories and look ahead to the matchup against Lipscomb. The Shockers put up a series fight to get the auto-bid by winning the AAC tournament, but came up just short against Cinci in the semi-finals. Then on Sunday night Wichita State was rewarded with an invitation to the NIT, where they will take the court on the road against the Furman Paladins. It was a rough game for Wichita State against the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday as they took their worst loss of the Gregg Marshall era. Dustin and Taylor break down what happened and how the team can move forward as they begin a crucial stretch to close the non-conference with 3 straight home games.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times and then it ended OK against Baylor on Saturday. Dustin and Taylor break down the good, band and ugly from the game and are joined by Joe Mussatto from The Oklahoman to preview the showdown with the Sooners in OKC on Saturday morning.

It was a relatively quiet week for the Shockers as they took care of Rice on Sunday and only have one game coming up this week. But it’s an important one against Baylor in Koch Arena. Dustin and Taylor break down the game and what to be looking forward to!

Wichita State came out of the Charleston Classic with a disappointing 1-2 finish, but there were signs of this young team turning a corner as they become more competitive.
